Skytrax, a well-known aviation service survey organization known as the “Oscars of the aviation industry”, announced the ranking of the top 100 airports in 2024 on the 17th. Hamad International Airport in Qatar defeated Singapore Changi Airport and regained the title of best airport; Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Peach ranks 66th in the world, an improvement of 16 places from 82nd in 2023.

Singapore Changi Airport has won Skytrax’s first place as the best airport 12 times, but this title was taken away by Hamad Airport in 2022 and 2021, and it fell to second place this year.

The third to fifth places are Seoul Incheon Airport, Tokyo Haneda, and Narita Airport respectively. Taoyuan International Airport rose from 82nd to 66th, but it is still far from the 13th place it recorded in 2019.

Hong Kong International Airport has seen a significant rebound in its ranking. After Hong Kong got rid of the impact of the new crown epidemic and the number of passengers increased, its ranking has rebounded from 22nd to 11th.

The ranking of airports in the United States is still poor, with no trace of the top 20 airports. The highest ranking is Seattle International Airport, which fell six places to 24th.

Airports in European countries are regulars in the top ten rankings, including Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Munich in Germany, Zurich in Switzerland and Istanbul Airport in Turkey all remaining in the top ten.

The Most Improved Award was won by Naha Airport in Okinawa, Japan, which climbed from 199th to 91st.
