Heavy rains in Ipatinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil, triggered landslides. From an aerial video taken on the 13th, it can be seen that the landslide caused serious damage to a local residential area, and houses, roads and trees were destroyed. The emergency department of Ipatinga and some people began to clean up the silt and rubble on the streets.

The rescue agency of Minas Gerais State said on the 12th that the landslide has caused 10 deaths. The city has now declared a 180-day state of public disaster.
