The new generation of heavy-lift launch rocket “Starship” of SpaceX was launched from Texas, the United States on the 16th for its seventh test flight. Shortly after the launch, the second-stage spacecraft of the rocket lost contact with the ground team. According to reports from CNN and CNBC, SpaceX subsequently issued a statement on the social platform X saying that the spacecraft disintegrated during the ascent and burning process.

Earlier, the live broadcast of Space Exploration Technologies showed that after the launch, the first-stage booster of the rocket was once again recovered from the launch tower, and was “clamped” by the mechanical arm on the launch tower during landing, and “captured” and recovered in mid-air.
